I find it funny and sad when folks take credit for inventing a fly (or anything really). Sometimes they really believe they have done something new with a mere material substitution. Sometimes they have worked in a vacuum and when they put there head up refuse to admit that they have merely reinvented the wheel.
I have noticed that when folks do have a truly original fly it tends to go unnoticed. Maybe because they don't pimp their fly every chance they get.
My freind James has developed some truly original flys and he has had some success with them but, but, but ...oh well :)
